Activities:
Students enjoy supervised free play, large & small group activities, activities to develop eye/hand coordination, large motor activities, Bible stories, snack time, finger plays and music, field trips, introduction to letters/colors/numbers/shapes. Curriculum in the 4 & 5 year old classes is geared toward Kindergarten readiness.
Teachers:
Each class has a head teacher and one or two teacher aides. The teachers have a college education and/or have experience working with young children. All of our staff are Christians and represent a variety of church denominations. They have all been screened by the Child Abuse History Clearance.
Class Size:
We stay within the ratio of 1 staff per 7 students with a maximum class size of 21 students. The 2-year old class ratio is 1 staff per 5 students with a maximum class size of 10.
